Yamaha Aerox 155 Launched At INR 1.29 Lakh
Yamaha’s maxi-style performance scooter is now available in India for Rs 1.29 lakh.
One of the most notable features of the new Aerox 155 is the 155cc VVA single-cylinder engine, which is based on the one used by the R15. The Aerox produces 15.36hp and 13.9Nm in worldwide markets, whereas the Indian version produces 15hp and 13.9Nm.
While these stats are lower than the R15’s, they are far greater than any other scooter on the Indian market. This, along with a CVT drivetrain, should result in a nimble scooter. The Yamaha Aerox 155 has a kerb weight of 126kg, which is extremely competitive.
The Aerox 155 has a spine portion with a distinctive underbone design. It offers a substantial 25-liter under-seat storage area as far as features go. Digital instrumentation, start-stop technology, LED lighting, a charging outlet, and Bluetooth connectivity are among the other features. It also has massive 14-inch wheels on both ends, as well as a wide 140-section rear tire.
The Yamaha Aerox 155 is reasonably priced at Rs 1.29 lakh. The price of the limited-edition MotoGP version is Rs 1.30 lakh. It costs less than the Vespa Racing Sixties (Rs 1.37 lakh) and Vespa Elegante 150 (Rs 1.39 lakh), both of which are significantly less powerful and have lower equipment levels. The Aprilia SXR 160 is priced at Rs 1.27 lakh.
