At the Auto Expo 2023 in January, Maruti Suzuki presented the Fronx tiny coupe-SUV as a gasoline-only vehicle.
The Fronx's factory-installed CNG kit is anticipated to only be available with the 1.2-litre engine, similar to previous Maruti CNG vehicles.
In petrol mode, this engine generates 90 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque, but in CNG mode, it only manages 77 horsepower and 98.5 Nm.
Sources claim that just a 5-speed manual gearbox will be available for the Fronx CNG.
On the mid-level trims of their vehicles, Maruti is well recognised for providing a factory installed CNG kit.
The first three trim levels, Sigma, Delta, and Delta+, all come with a 1.2-liter engine.
The Delta+ upgrade includes 16-inch alloy wheels and LED daytime running lights.
