Volkswagen Excellence Centers Launched For pre-owned cars
A couple of months ago, the Volkswagen India pre-owned car business company was launched. Today they announced a new setup of the Das WeltAuto (DWA) Volkswagen Excellence Centers for their used car business. These centers, when buying, selling, or exchanging the car, links with digitally integrated and customized services.
Drawing on a unique retail experience and focusing on price transparency, the Excellence Centers offer a wider range of pre-owned multi-brand cars. A dedicated relationship manager is provided to customers and guarantees are provided on cars that are previously owned.
Currently, 105 DWA outlets are available in India. 17 additional Volkswagen Excellence Centers are planned for 2020-21. Customized services are also provided by the digitally integrated WorldAuto Excellence Centers. Knowledge of car assessment, specific funding, accessory packages, and hassle-free transfer are available to customers.
Built on competitive pricing, cars, accessories, services, and guarantees (up to 12 months), insurance and financial assistance are thoroughly checked and certified. An extensive 160-point checklist is applied to each pre-owned vehicle. There is a third party inspector who has been confirmed with certification after due diligence and inspection has been completed. The DWA network is being developed as a one-stop solution with a large range of applications, maintaining a value proposition in the pre-owned organized segment.
Digitization throughout the DWA Center makes a contactless experience possible, which is currently a key focus area. On the DWA website, customers can buy or sell an integrated online platform. The Das WeltAuto Valuator app can initiate a car self-assessment. The mobile app offers transparent assessments according to the ‘Indian Blue Book’ algorithms in a rapid manner. The scanned interface of DWA is intended for customers interested in a used car, as a professionally managed platform.
Volkswagen performs thorough internal audits and verifications to ensure the Volkswagen Excellence Centers work smoothly. Centers also present a DWA Special Edition car that is essentially a display car that is attached to them so that customers can see what possibilities and scope a used car offers.
Volkswagen India is committed to providing customized services while ensuring peace of mind through a hassle-free end-to-end process. Including professional consulting and consultancy by the DWA Relationship manager, Road-Side Support, test drive, vehicle adaptation, and service support during the entire term, the DWA Excellence Center builds on the 10 pillars of Volkswagen.
“Customer experience is at the core of our brand philosophy and we think we’ll be able to deal with the ever-changing car segment when the DWA Excellence Center was established,” said Steffen Knapp, director at Volkswagen Passenger Cars India.
