TVS iQube Steps Foot In Market
With its iQube, TVS introduced a venture about one year ago in electric mobility. It was started shortly after the Chetak electric scooter was launched by Bajaj. At about INR 1.15 Lakh the iQube currently retails. The iQube Electric is a connected scooter, built on TVS’ SmartXonnect platform, that focuses on the fun factor like any TVS products. And TVS has now introduced a formal e-scooter iQube, including FAME-II subsidy, at Rs 1,08,012 (on-road Delhi).
For an amount of Rs 5000, The customers can book the iQube online. It has a 4.4 kW electric motor which guarantees high performance and efficiency without a loss of power. The motorcycle can travel up to 75 kilometers at full charge and has a top speed of 78 km. However, the Li-ion battery can’t be removed. In 4.2 seconds, the urban shuttle can speed up from 0 to 40 kmph. The TVS iQube comes with TVS software and provides geo-fencing, remote battery charging, navigation assist, location, incoming call notifications/SMS, among other alerts.
Q-park support, economic and power modes, day and night displays, and renewable braking are other creative features. Just one color – striking white is available for the scooter. The iQube looks sleek but subtle and workable with its simple and clear nature. It has crystalline LED headlights, all-LED tail lamps, and a lighting emblem. You can also book TVS iQube Electric via the website or on some dealers with a reservation number of INR 5000. The consumer can also use TVS Loan lending systems.
