TVS iQube ST Electric Scooter Showcased At Auto Expo 2023
The EV section is the centre of interest at the Auto Expo 2023, and we have seen a number of new electric vehicles there. For the general public, TVS has recently released the upgraded iQube ST electric scooter.
The TVS iQube ST electric scooter is an improved model of the company’s previous iQube line. In this most recent version, a new TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system) module has been incorporated. A voice command assist capability will also be included with the electric scooter. These are the main technological advancements included in the most recent TVS iQube electric scooter model.
In comparison to the current-generation model, TVS hasn’t made any significant design advancements to the iQube ST electric scooter. The LED headlights and the other illumination features don’t change.
The TVS iQube ST electric scooter uses the same hardware components as the current versions’ remaining components. A substantial 7-inch TFT display with touch controls is included. The iQube ST has Bluetooth connectivity, geo-fencing, reverse parking help, a USB charging connector, and turn-by-turn navigation as features. A music control system is also included.
Speaking of the engine, the 3kW motor powers the TVS iQube ST electric scooter. It has a 4.56 kWh battery, and according to TVS, it has a range of about 145 kilometres on a single charge. This upgraded TVS electric scooter can also be charged from empty to 80 percent in around 4 hours using a standard EV charger. The iQube ST’s top speed will be 82 km/hr. Drum brakes will be used at the back, while the front will have disc brakes. The precise cost of the iQube ST electric scooter in India has not yet been disclosed by TVS.
