TVS Fiero 125 Name Registered And Applied For Trademark
It’s been years since TVS last had a 125cc motorcycle on sale, or since its popular Fiero brand was used by the company. There could be both of those things about to shift.
The TVS Fiero 150 was a twenty-year-old TVS motorcycle, and the South Indian business seems to be planning to revive its image. In addition to registering a new name for TVS Zepplin R, TVS has also registered a name for the TVS Fiero 125.
TVS has had a 125cc motorcycle on sale in India for a long time, but it seems that the company can no longer disregard the numbers enjoyed by rivals such as Honda and Hero. The registration of the new name suggests that a rival is being planned by TVS.
It’s rational to assume that if TVS creates a new 125cc motorcycle with this name, it will also have a slightly sporty character, given that the original Fiero was a fairly sporty motorcycle. TVS will be targeting anything like the latest Honda SP 125 with that in mind.
At the moment, almost nothing is known about this motorcycle, but it is fair to expect a combination of good performance and attractive features, except in typical TVS fashion. A launch is possible sometime next year.
