Toyota launches the subscription program for the mobility service
Toyota Mobility Service is a new leasing and subscription service introduced by Indian carmaker. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) will partner with established in-house brand ‘KINTO’ under Toyota Financial Services, ALD Automotive India, and SMAS Auto Leasing India Pvt Ltd, under this initiative.
The carmaker will offer its customers the choice under Toyota Mobility Service to lease or subscribe to a car for three, four, or five years at a fixed monthly rate. TKM would also allow for shorter service options ranging from 24 months to 48 months.
Most of the Toyota models available in India, except for the Vellfire, would qualify for the subscription plan.
The new Mobility Service (subscription program) is currently being introduced by TKM in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. But the carmaker aims to extend this over the next year to 10 additional major cities across India.
The monthly subscription/loan fee is not only for the chosen car but also covers the cost of repairs, insurance, and roadside assistance for the vehicle. Therefore no additional charges over the monthly fee are expected.
Toyota’s India line-up is currently made up of the Glanza, Yaris, Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Vellfire. The carmaker is all set to introduce the Urban Cruiser – its compact-SUV segment model, which is based on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
