Top 5 Bestselling Motorcycles For FY2020. Between Rs 1-1.5 Lakh
SIAM (Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) has released the sales number of various vehicles for FY2020, which spans from April-2019 to March-2020. The sales number has dropped compared to the previous Fiscal Year Of 2019. We have compiled a list consisting of the best selling motorcycles priced between Rs 1- 1.5 Lakh. 5. Bajaj Pulsar 220F – 74,309 Units
Price: Rs 1,17,286
With 74,309 units being sold in FY2020, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F’s demand has dropped compared to FY2019 and is down by around 10 percent.
4. Bajaj Pulsar 180F, NS160, NS200, RS 200 – 1,18,022 Units
Price: Rs 1,03,398 Onwards
All the motorcycles in the 150 cc to 200 cc category are calculated together, these consist of the Pulsar 180F, NS 160, NS 200 and the RS 200. These motorcycles were sold at a combined value of 1,18,022 units in FY2020, compared to FY2019 there has been a drop of around 19 percent in the sales of the motorcycles overall.
3. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 – 1,30,820 Units
Price: Rs 1,21,583 Onwards
Royal Enfield releases separate numbers for the Bullet 350 and the Bullet 350 ES, the Bullet 350 has been able to bag the third spot on our list due to it’s impressive 1,30,820 units sold in FY2020.
2. Yamaha FZ, FZ-S V3.0 – 1,77,621 Units
Price: Rs 99,200 Onwards
Yamaha’ FZ series has been able to grab the second spot on our list with 1,77,621 units sold in FY2020, that is a 19 percent drop compared to FY2019 at 2,19,774 units sold.
1. TVS Apache RTR Series (160, 180, 160 4V, 200 4V) – 3,65,232 Units
Price: Rs 95,000 Onwards
Just like Bajaj, TVS also calculates all their motorcycles in the 150 cc to 200 cc range together. These motorcycles were sold at a combined value of 3,65,232 units in FY2020, compared to FY2019 there has been a drop of around 21 percent in the sales of the motorcycles overall. TVS recently launched the BS6 models of the Apache RTR 160 4V and the Apache RTR 200 4V
