Tata Tiago XT(O) Launched At INR 5.48 Lakh
The Tata Tiago now sells a new XT(O) trim, placed beneath the mid-specific XT. The new version costs Rs 15,500 less than the new Tiago XT and does not include a package of 5.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Although most (O) variations tend to indicate some more equipment over the basic model, on the Tiago the XT(O) trim is the reverse. The XT(O) does not have the 2DIN Harman Audio System head unit in comparison to the Tiago XT however the car still has 4 speakers.
In most cases the XT(O) is the same as the Tiago XT, so you may get pieces like the 14-inch wheel covers, a front 12V power outlet, manual AC, power windows front and front, electrically controlled wing mirrors, central lockings, twin airbags, ABS and rear parking sensors. The XT(O) is also the same.
The XT(O) comes only with a 5-speed manual gearbox with the XTA versions of the Tiago AMT. The power comes from a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, naturally suctioned gasoline engine, which is good for a torque of 86hp and 113Nm.
Tata Tiago will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Wagon R, Hyundai Santro, and Datsun Go in terms of competitions.
