Tata Nexon XM(S) Variant Launched
Tata Nexon XM(S) model introduction has been announced by Tata Motor today. In an attempt to meet the consumer demand and make premium features more available, the company is now offering the XM (S) model with an Electric Sunroof at a starting price of INR 8.36 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), making it the most affordable vehicle with this feature in India across segments. We previously expected the Nexon to acquire a DCT transmission but with the introduction of this new model, Tata Motors has rested all of the speculations.
In a bid to draw more prospective buyers to the car, the model aims to deliver more premium features at a more competitive price point.The Tata Nexon XM(S) manual petrol is available at INR 8.36 Lakh while INR 9.70 Lakh sets you back with the diesel variant. On the other hand, INR 8.96 Lakh is priced for the automatic petrol version of the same trim while INR 10.30 Lakh is priced for the diesel automatic. The Tata Nexon XM(S) version comes along with the Electric Sunroof, fitted with features such as automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and steering mounted controls.
The variant also retains Nexon XM’s existing features such as the Harman Electronic Stability Program, LED DRLs with Projector Headlamps, Driver and Co-Driver Airbags, Hill Hold Control, Harman ConnectNext Infotainment System, and Multi-Drive Modes (Eco, City, and Sport). This along with an array of state-of-the-art features make this version a convincing set.
