If sources are to be believed, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be launched by the end of June.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 was recently spotted on a online configuration tool, the motorcycle seems to be ready and in production form. But due to the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the motorcycle launch had been delayed as manufacturing was stopped.
Recently, the government granted some relaxations for industries to resume operations in a graded manner. Royal Enfield has resumed operations in it’s factories.
In an interview recently, Vinod Dasari, CEO, Royal Enfield said
It is a new 350 cc, which is a significantly better feeling, significantly better in terms of the ride, so I want to leave something for you to hope for, desire for. Hopefully, by the end of June, we will be able to do that.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be based on a new 350 cc platform, which features a new 350 cc engine with a SOHC setup rather than a traditional pushrod setup, a new gearbox, double-cradle chassis and frame. This platform is expected to provide a more smoother engine with reduced vibrations and enhanced performance and ride quality.
