Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Lightning Edition And Continental GT 650 Thunder Edition Revealed
The Interceptor 650 Lightning edition and the Continental GT 650 Thunder edition from Royal Enfield are two special edition models that come with a few touring equipments as standard.
Both the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Lightning Edition and the Continental GT 650 Thunder edition come with the same extras, including tiny flyscreens, touring seats, detachable soft panniers, and compact engine guards. The same color options as ordinary motorcycles are available for these limited edition bikes.
Both bikes have the same 648cc parallel-twin engine with a 47hp, 52Nm oil-cooled motor, and a 6-speed transmission, making them mechanically similar as well.
The Continental GT 650 Thunder edition costs £6,659 overseas, while the Interceptor 650 Lightning edition costs £6,459 (about Rs 6.47 lakh) (approx Rs 6.67 lakh). These versions are currently exclusively available outside of the country, and the business hasn’t indicated any plans to introduce them there. Customers can, however, choose these accessories from the extensive RE catalog for their specific motorcycles. Also, we recently discovered that alloy wheels, a feature that owners have longed for from day one, would soon be available on the 650 twins.
