Renault Kiger Launched In India With A Starting Price Of INR 5.45 Lakh
Renault Kiger has been launched in India at a starting price of INR 5.45 lakh. The 100 bp CVT high defined version stretches up to INR 9.55 lakh. Renault Kiger can be offered in four trim levels and four engine-gearbox combinations. Booking has opened today for the Renault Kiger. In the very competitive subcompact SUV segment, the Kiger marks Renault’s entry. In its manufacturing facility in Chennai, the firm recently started mass production of its brand new compact SUV, Renault Kiger.
When we talk of the Kiger, it tends to be a beefed-up Kwid on steroids. It has a chrome grille with Renault components signature and is flanked on each side by LED DRLs. It has the Tata Harrier and the MG Hector split headlamps. There are LED projects on either side of the bumper and the central air dam is mounted on the bumper. It has a sharp line on the bonnet and also has a ground clearance of 205mm.
The wheelbase has a length of 2500 mm and a capacity of 405 liters. It glides on16″ blacked wheels, and in higher trims, it gets a diamond cut. On the sides, it gets black body claddings. The rear has a spoiler and a similar hollow beneath the glass surface. It has a couple of C-shaped backlights that are extended upwards. It gets a silver skid-plates black bumper too.
It has a7″ instrument cluster on the inside. It receives an 8″ touch infotainment interface, which plays with android auto and apple car play. The machine is fitted with wireless charging, air-condition control, and separate mode drives.
The Tribe 72PS 1.0-liter petrol engine and a new 100PS HRA0 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine will be available for the Kiger. The natural aspirated comes standard with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT. In addition to a manual 5-speed transmission, the turbo-petrol engine is fitted with a CVT.
