New Renault Triber AMT launched at Rs 6.18 L
Renault India has launched the most awaited 7-seater AMT equipped Triber which comes at Rs 6.18 lakh ex-sh and goes up to Rs 7.22 lakh. The Easy-R AMT variant offers three trims- RXL, RTX, and RXZ. Bookings have started on Renault India’s official website; customers can also book from the My Renault App and at local dealerships across the country with a booking amount of Rs 5,000.
Besides the 5-speed AMT unit, the mechanical part remains unchanged. The 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine generated a good 71 hp and 96 Nm of torque. While the BS4 petrol-manual Triber had an ARAI-rated 20kpl mileage figure, the mileage of the BS6 Triber is under the hood. It is expected that Renault India will launch a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine ( Triber turbo) which will generate 95hp and is in the pipeline through its launch.
Coming up to the features, the Triber AMT is the same as the manual versions. The top-spec Triber RxZ continues to get four airbags, a rear camera, a rear defogger, wiper, LED DRLs, 15-inch wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and phone-based navigation, keyless entry and go and power-adjustable wing mirrors.
The Renault Triber does not have any direct rival in its segment but it has a close rival with the Datsun Go+.
