MG One SUV Teased Before Debut
MG has released a global preview of the next One SUV, which will make its debut on July 30, 2021. The MG One will be built on a new modular platform, according to the firm, and will improve its design and technology capabilities.
The One SUV, according to MG, has an “aggressive and sporty design concept,” which is visible in the preview photographs. A low-set, wide grille, flanked by sharp-looking headlamps, noticeable creases along with the bonnet, and an L-shaped cut in the front bumper, define the nose. The SUV has a coupe-like design aspect on the sides, with the roof sloping downwards towards the back. Prominent haunches, paneling around the wheel arches and lower doors, and dynamic dual-tone wheels complete the design. The photographs display a roof-mounted spoiler and stylish tail lamps with LED accents around the back.
Aside from the fact that it will be constructed on a new SIGMA modular design, MG has revealed a lot about its forthcoming global SUV. The company has dubbed it a “all-in-one” architecture, implying that it will be used in a variety of goods in the future.
The SUV will also have an “advanced electric architecture,” a “active digital ecosystem,” and “hardcore software technology,” implying that it would be packed with the newest features, including semi-autonomous technology, infotainment, and linked car technologies.
There are currently no specifics about the powertrain.
In terms of MG India, the petrol variant of the ZS EV is slated to be the company’s next product introduction. The new SUV (which will be a facelifted ZS sold in international countries) will have revised looks and be rebadged as the Astor to differentiate it from the ZS EV.
In terms of the MG One, there is currently no word on whether the SUV would be launched in India.
