Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1 Launched At A Price Of Rs 4.80 Lakh
Maruti Suzuki India has introduced the Alto K10 Tour H1, a taxi-version of the Alto K10, into the commercial market. It is available in a single trim level with two engine options: a 1.0-litre Petrol and an S-CNG unit. The Alto K10 Tour H1 is priced at Rs 4.80 lakh for the normal petrol version and Rs 5.70 lakh for the CNG version. Prices are shown ex-showroom. The company hopes to change the entry-level market with its claimed fuel economy of 24.60 km/l for the petrol unit and 34.46km/kg for the S-CNG unit.
The commercial hatchback has dimensions of 3,530mm in length, 1,490mm in width, and 1,520mm in height. It had a wheelbase of 2,380mm and a fuel capacity of 27 litres (petrol). The S-CNG variant, on the other hand, can contain up to 55 litres of fuel.
The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1 prioritises safety by including dual airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), front seatbelts with pre-tensioner and force limiter, seatbelt reminder for all passengers, a speed limiting system, engine immobiliser, and reverse parking sensors.
Because the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1 is based on the new generation Alto K10, the vehicle’s design is identical to that of the Alto K10. It has a huge honeycomb-patterned grille, a raised bonnet, halogen headlights with integrated turn signals, and unpainted front and rear bumpers. The hatchback is equipped with steel wheels that do not have steel coverings.
This new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1 comes in three paint colours: Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Granite Grey, and Arctic White.
Other prominent amenities include a touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, central locking, USB connections, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, and more. Overall, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1 is deemed to be a good combination of safety, convenience, and comfort.
The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1, which is based on the popular Alto K10, is available with two powertrain options. The Tour H1 car produces 66bhp at 5,500rpm and 89Nm of peak torque at 3,500rpm when powered by a 1.0-litre K-series Dual VVT petrol engine. The CNG engine produces 56bhp at 5,300rpm and 82.1Nm at 3,400rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is available.
The taxi version of the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has a fuel economy of 24.60 km/l in petrol mode. In comparison, the CNG unit produces 34.46km/kg.
In the meantime, Maruti Suzuki is planning to add a new hybrid MPV to its expanding model lineup in India. The forthcoming automobile, dubbed the Engage, is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross. The premium offering is the result of a collaboration between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, and the Engage MPV will be the most costly and largest automobile in Maruti Suzuki’s model lineup. It will go on sale on July 5, 2018, and is likely to cost between Rs 25.20 lakh and Rs 30.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Maruti Suzuki Engage, a rebadged version of the popular Innova Hycross, will be sold through Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa dealership network.
