BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 launched
With a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh, which is Rs 11,000 more than the BS4 edition, Mahindra has just released the BS6-compliant Mojo 300. Rates grow to Rs 2.11 lakh, depending on the choices in four colors (all rates, ex-showroom, Delhi).
In 2019, after the Mojo XT 300 and UT 300 were discontinued, Mahindra first launched the Mojo 300 ABS, and aside from the revised model, with the move to BS6, not much has improved.
The Mahindra Mojo 300 is powered by the same 294.72cc engine, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine. Mahindra has not yet announced its peak performance figures but we anticipate the BS4-spec engine to deliver a small decrease from the 26.29hp at 7.500rpm and 28Nm at 5.500rpm.
Although the Mojo continues featuring a single exhaust muffler, it also has an extra catalytic converter to satisfy the tougher pollution standards. Components such as the telescopic fork and mono-shock from the BS4 Mojo 300 were taken forward from the looks of it.
The front disc of 320 mm and the rear disk brakes of 240 mm is the same, and the bike stays fitted with a dual-channel ABS feature. There are four paint combinations for the BS6 Mojo 300 – Red Agate, Black Pearl, Ruby Red, and Pearl Blue. The business has started taking Rs 5,000 bookings, and deliveries will commence very early.
