Lexus has finally launched the NX350H in India, after announcing pre-orders for its Hybrid SUV in January. The NX350H is distinct in that it is the segment’s only Hybrid offering. The Lexus NX350H comes in three trim levels: Exquisite, Luxury, and F-Sport. These variants are priced at 64.90 lakh, 65.90 lakh, and 71.60 lakh, respectively. The NX also serves as a model for future Lexus models, incorporating the Tazuna concept and the Lexus driving signature, among other things.
The exterior of the 2022 Lexus NX350H has been updated slightly from the previous model. The grille remains unchanged, but the headlights have been redesigned with pointy, arrow-shaped daytime running lights and three projectors LED headlights. In comparison to the previous model, the spindle grille’ has also grown in size. At the back, the traditional L emblem has been replaced by a large Lexus letter. In the back, there are new L-shaped LED taillamps with a light bar in the center.
The interiors of the NX350h have undergone the most changes. Depending on the variant, it now has a 9-inch or 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Physical dials can also be found for controlling elements such as climate control and audio volume. However, the majority of functions are now controlled by the screen, which clears the cabin of all the buttons. A 7.0-inch high-definition screen in the instrument cluster and an optional 10-inch head-up display are among the other features in the cabin.
Touch-sensitive steering wheel, 64-color ambient lighting, 17-speaker Mark Levinson surround-sound system, soft-close doors with e-latch, panoramic sunroof, auto headlamps, auto wipers, and electrically adjustable front seats are among the other features. In terms of safety, it comes with Lexus Safety System+, which includes, among other things, ABS, EBD, ESC, traction control, and front and rear parking sensors.
The NX350H’s powertrain distinguishes it from the competition. It has a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine with 192hp. This gasoline engine is coupled to a pair of electric motors on the front and rear axles, resulting in a combined output of 244hp. A 6-step e-CVT gearbox sends power to all four wheels.
