Ford Endeavour Sport Edition Launched at INR 35.10 Lakh(Ex-Showroom)
Ford India has finally launched the ‘Sport’ edition of the Endeavour at INR 35.10 Lakh. Based on the 4×4 trim Titanium +, the new variant adds black-out cosmetic elements to the exterior of Endeavor to give the SUV a more sporty appearance.
The Endeavour Sport receives several cosmetic changes on the outside as compared to the Endeavour standard. Starting in the front, the headlamps are now smoked, a new black glossy grille with a honeycomb pattern has been replaced by a 3-layer chrome grille, and the skid plate is now completed in black and the whole chrome finish has also been dimmed.
The topic is also black on the sides, with alloy rolls, roof rails, fender, and wing mirrors in black too. The silver and chrome trim was blacked out around the back, and a new Sport badge is now on the tailgate. The Endeavor Sport comes in three colours-Absolute Black, Silver, and Diamond White. There is no noticeable change to the cabin, and the double-tone, beige and grey interior continues as it used to be.
Endeavor Sports kits like LED headlamps, powerful front seats, an 8.0-inch tactile screen, dual-zone climate control, hands-free tailgate opening, cruises, a panoramic sunroof, Ford’s Terrain Management system, hands-free parking, and much more.
The Sport is equipped with seven airbags, ESC, traction control, pneumatic pressure monitor, descent control, and more on the safety front.
Here again, the 2.0-liter Diesel engine in the Ford Endeavour Sport Edition is no change with the standard Endeavor 170hp. There are no manual options, and the engine is standard coupled with an automatic 10-speed gearbox. The standard all-wheel drive.
Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra Alturas rival Ford Endeavour Sport Edition. For the segment, Endeavour Sport has a much more sports-oriented alternative to the standard SUV’s, like the Fortuner TRD Edition Limited.
Concerning the seven-seater SUV segment, the next launch of the new MG Gloster is expected to grow, which will be a better alternative than the above-mentioned SUVs. The BS6 compatible iteration of the Isuzu MU-X SUV is also expected to arrive.
