Ford EcoSport Titanium launched at Rs 10.67 lakh
In India, Ford has added a second variant to the automatic EcoSport range. The new and cheaper automatic EcoSport Titanium sits below the model Titanium +. We are telling you what’s new.
New mid-level automatic version costs about Rs 90,000 less than the top-spec EcoSport Titanium + automatic; among other features, it skips sunroof and side airbags.
As mentioned above, the latest Ford EcoSport Titanium trim is below the automatic top-spec model and, at Rs 10.67 lakh, it’s around 90,000 rs cheaper. This variant misses out on a sunroof and also comes with dual-front airbags to justify its lower price point. In comparison, the top-spec EcoSport Titanium+ automatic gets a standard sunroof and comes with six airbags as standard. Some of the other features not available on the Titanium variant include auto headlights and wipers, an armrest at the rear seat center and front map light.
The new Ford EcoSport automatic Titanium comes fitted with a 9.0-inch infotainment screen, cruise control, paddle shifters, traction control, and ESP to name a few.
The automatic EcoSport comes with the same 1.5-liter, 123hp petrol as the manual variant. The SUV is also available with a 100hp, 1.5-liter diesel engine, but with a manual gearbox, this model is only optional.
Yes, connected car tech recently introduced by Ford is also available on the EcoSport Titanium mid-spec automatic variant. FordPass comes with features such as vehicle start or stop, car locator, remote lock or unlock, and some other updates related to the cars.
The Tata Nexon AMT, Hyundai Venue DCT, and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza mild-hybrid AT are also compact petrol-powered SUV options.
