Citroen C3 Shine 1.2 Turbo Launched At A Price Of Rs 8.80 Lakh
Citroen India has released pricing for the new C3 Turbo Shine model, which begins at Rs 8.80 lakh. The C3 Turbo is also available in an entry-level Feel trim for Rs 8.28 lakh, both prices ex-showroom, Delhi. Citroen India has announced that the whole C3 lineup, including the naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine, is now RDE compliant. The French company recently debuted the C3 Aircross SUV in India.
The Citroen C3 Shine 1.2 Turbo Feel model, with its powerful 110hp three-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission, was previously the showpiece of the petrol-powered C3 line-up in India. The model, however, was derided for its lack of features, which also applied to the naturally aspirated C3 Feel variation. In our first drive review, we praised the car’s performance and handling but noted the notable absence of numerous crucial amenities.
Citroen India debuted the new top-spec C3 Shine for the less powerful 82hp,1.2-litre NA engine last month, and now the Citroen C3 Shine 1.2 Turbo petrol-powered C3 receives the same feature enhancements. Electrically adjustable wing mirrors, a rear parking camera, a manually adjustable day/night rearview mirror, and front fog lamps are all included. It also comes standard with 15-inch alloy wheels, a rear wash/wipe, and a rear defogger.
The Citroen C3 Shine 1.2 Turbo Shine is Rs 1.2 lakh more expensive than the naturally aspirated Shine model, priced at Rs 8.80 lakh. The My Citroen Connect app, which contains roughly 35 connectivity capabilities, is now available for the C3. While Citroen has introduced a number of features to the C3 Shine, the full C3 petrol line-up still lacks a tachometer, push-button start/stop, and auto air conditioning.
The Citroen C3 will compete with better variants of the Tata Punch and Maruti Ignis, albeit neither model will have a turbo-petrol engine option. At this price, the C3 1.2 turbo competes with lower-spec compact SUVs like the Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite.
