TVS has launched the BS6 Radeon after revealing it’s specifications a while back. The bike now comes with a BS6 engine and three variants.
The bike is powered by the same 109.7 cc, air-cooled engine which now produces 8.08 Hp of power and 8.7 Nm of torque, there is a minor loss of 0.12 hp in power figures and the torque figures remain unchanged. The motorcycle now gets Fuel Injection instead of a carburettor and is mated to the same 4-Speed gearbox as before. TVS claims that the bike is now 15% more fuel efficient than the old model.
BS6 TVS Radeon is being offered in three variants: Drum, Commuter Bike Of The Year Drum and Commuter Bike Of The Year Disc. The Drum variant comes with 130 mm drum brakes in both the front and the rear. The Commuter Bike Of The Year Drum comes with 130 mm drum brakes in both the front and the rear and two new special paint schemes. The Commuter Bike Of The Year Disc comes with a 240 mm disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear and two new special paint schemes.
The Commuter Of The Year variants come in two colours, Chrome Black and Chrome Brown whereas the Drum variant comes with six colours: Pearl White, Metal Black, Golden Beige, Royal Purple, Volcano Red and Titanium Grey.
