Bajaj has been busy updating their motorcycle lineup to make them BS6 compliant. The Pulsar 220F has received the new update too, visually there have been no changes to the bike and it still has the Smoked Twin-Projector headlamps surrounded by a quarter fairing and a muscular tank.
Mechanically the bike has received some minor changes, the engine is the same oil-cooled 220cc engine, but it now has fuel injection instead of the carburetor previously. The power has dropped by 0.5 ps and the torque remains the same at 18.55 Nm. The fuel injection has made the throttle response crisper than before.
In the braking and suspension department there are no changes and it still comes with disc brakes at both ends with single-channel ABS and has telescopic suspension in the front and twin-shock absorbers at the back.
The BS6 Pulsar 220F comes in the same colors as before- Black Blue and Black Red. The bike is now costlier by Rs 9,000 and brings up it’s price to Rs 1,17,000 (ex-showroom).
