BMW X3 M Launched
The BMW X3 M has been released with a price of Rs 99,9 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The X3 receives a high-performance version of the BMW’s M division for the first time.
The BMW X3 M has a more aggressive exterior style than the regular X3 according to its M credentials. It shares its design language with the other BMW X-vehicles with double-slat black kidney grills, slightly hexagonal wheel arches and muscle dimensions, discreet roof rails, and a spoiler behind them. The X3 M can be mounted on regular 20-inch wheels.
The interior of the X3 M is identical to the regular model but has some M-specific modifications. The M-style “Cockpit concept” includes a memory, leather upholstery, ambiance lighting, and an M-specific instrument cluster, which can be easily changed. The X3 M also comes with a split-folded back seat and a panoramic sunroof.
The BMW X3 M has an adaptive LED headlight, a rain-sensing washer, anti-dazzle mirrors, a head-up display, a parking aid, and a powerful tailgate on the technology front.
The car also features technology such as Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and wireless charging.
The X3 M contains six airbags, brake assist ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, automatic holding electronic parking brake, pneumatic pressure monitor, vehicle stopper, side-impact safety, seat belts, and a crash sensor.
The X3 M is powered by a new 3.0-liter inline 6-petrol engines with the latest technology improvements dubbed “TwinPower Turbo,” which is reportedly fitted with track-tested cooling and oil supply systems.
BMW is able for a time of 0-100kph in 4.2s and a peak speed of 250kph, with a power peg at 480 hp and a top torque at 600Nm. To maximize output, four driving modes are available.
With an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission in conjunction with a rear-oriented all-wheel-drive system of M xDrive, BMW’s X3 M transfers its power to all four wheels.
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 will soon contend with the BMW X3 M.
