Audi A4 Premium Launched At A Price Of INR 39.99 Lakh
Audi India has added a new entry-level Premium model to the A4 lineup, priced at Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Audi A4 car now comes in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus (Rs 43.69 lakh), and Technology (Rs 47.61 lakh).
Audi India has launched the new Audi A4 Premium to commemorate a successful 2021. In India, this new model serves as the starting point to the Audi A4 lineup.
A 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, an Audi sound system, LED headlamps and taillamps, Audi’s Drive Select driving modes, an electric glass sunroof, wireless charger, leather, and leatherette upholstery, single-color ambient lighting, auto climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear parking camera are all standard on the Audi A4 Premium.
The Premium model lacks Audi’s Virtual Cockpit Plus digital instrument cluster, multi-zone temperature control, multi-colored ambient lighting, gesture-based trunk opening, and five-spoke ‘dynamic style’ alloy wheels.
The 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine in the Audi A4 produces 190hp and 320Nm of torque. As standard, the engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with power sent solely to the front wheels. The A4 claims a 0-100kph sprint time of 7.3 seconds and a peak speed of 241kph.
The Audi A4 competes with other luxury cars such as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class (Rs 50.01-51.74 lakh), BMW 3 Series (Rs 44.90-50.90 lakh), and Volvo S60 (Rs 44.90-50.90 lakh) (Rs 45.90 lakh).
Audi’s next vehicle to be launched in India is the redesigned Q7 SUV in January 2022. Following that, the German automaker will launch the new Q3 in our market. Audi recently unveiled the facelifted Q5 SUV, priced at Rs 58.93 lakh, and expanded its EV line-up with the introduction of the e-tron GT variants.
