2022 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Launched At INR 11.5 Lakhs
The MY22 Versys 1000 has been unveiled by India Kawasaki Motors Pvt Ltd. (IKM). The Versys 1000 will be offered in the color “CANDY LIME GREEN TYPE 3” with a starting price of INR 11,55,000/-. (Ex-Showroom). Beginning in mid-November, deliveries will be made.
The 2022 Kawasaki Versys 1000 is an adventure tourer that prefers to eat up miles on the highway than venturing off the beaten path. The Versys 1000 is powered by a 1,043cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve in-line four-cylinder engine that produces 120 PS and 102Nm of torque.
The engine has been tweaked to provide better throttle response and torque over the whole rpm range. With a wet multi-plate assist and slipper clutch, the engine is coupled to a 6-speed return type transmission. The bike has disc brakes all around, including dual-discs in the front and radial-mount front brake calipers. When it comes to suspension, the front forks have a 150mm travel. We get a horizontal gas-charged mono-shock in the back.
Electronic throttle valves, electronic cruise control, cornering management functions, traction control, and an anti-lock brake system are included in the bike’s features, ensuring a smoother and safer ride.
The bike’s frame is made of aluminum twin tubes, which adds strength while also reducing weight. At night, the twin LED headlamps to provide excellent illumination, instilling confidence in the rider. There’s also a windscreen that may be adjusted for further personalization. A DC power source is also available on the bike.
K-CARE for the 2022 Kawasaki Versys 1000 has also been launched by Kawasaki Motors Pvt Ltd. This package includes a four-year Extended Warranty and an Annual Maintenance Contract.
At the time of vehicle resale, K-CARE also offers package transfer to a new owner. The extended warranty is the same as the standard warranty, and it adheres to the Kawasaki maintenance plan.
