Tesla Is Going To Open Its Manufacturing Unit In Karnataka
Tesla is all set to launch its operation in India. In the past, several years, the American carmaker indicated that it is ready to reach India but until this year nothing specific has happened. After sitting with the state government, Tesla recently registered a subsidiary company in India. On Saturday the chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yediyurappa Stated that Tesla will set up a manufacturing hub in Karnataka.
The declaration was included in the Union Budget list of benefits promised to Karnataka. ” Tesla Is Going To Open Its Manufacturing Unit In Karnataka,” said Yediyurappa. The declaration was made at a cost of Rs 7,725 crore, which would create 2.8 lakh of jobs in Tumakuru. Tesla registered its Subsidiary company in Bangalore in the name of Tesla India Motors and Energy private Limited.
We think Tesla will come into India on Model 3. Tesla Model 3 is one of Tesla’s cheapest models so far. First introduced in 2017, the car has become the most popular all-electric car in the world. With the capacity to charge in 15 minutes, Tesla can import vehicles as fully assembled units. In the third quarter of 2020, Tesla’s Model 3 together with Model Y accounted for approximately 89% of overall sales of Tesla.
