Ducati Multistrada 950 S Launched
At the start of INR 15.49 Lakh ( ex-showroom), Ducati has finally launched the long-awaited Multistrada 950 S in India. The motorcycle is available internationally in three models, Standard, S, and S Spoked Wheels. The firm had already made a token of INR 1 lakh for pre-booking its ADV. The company also announced the short start of deliveries. The revised ADV is also available very soon in the country’s official retailers.
The Ducati Multistrada 950 S obtains more luxury equipment than regular models since it is the mid-specific version.
The Ducati Multistrada 950 S is powered by a 937cc Testastretta engine that produces 113 hp and complies with Euro 5 emission standards. The motorcycle is also fitted with an Electronic Suspension System, Ducati Fast Move up and down (DQS), Ducati Skyhook Suspension Evo (DSS), and Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL), which is fully LED. A 5-inch TFT instrument clubs, cruise management, hands-free system, a 19-inches front wheel, a seat of 840 mm, and Bosch cornering ABS are some of the other features. A six-speed gearbox is mounted to the engine. Twin discs of 320 mm on the front and a rotor of 265 mm on the back perform the anchoring tasks.
A couple of months ago, Ducati began painting the Multistrada 950 S as a new GP White livery. Ducati will also be introducing the new livery in this region. We can’t help but think that after playing dirt on the tracks the purpose-constructed ADV-tourer will look in white livery. The Ducati MotoGP graphics is expected to inspire the new livery. It has a color scheme that balances the combination of white and grey beautifully. Ducati does not separate the whole with its trademark red color, as the frame and halves contain some attractive red detail.
As in the rest of the Multistrada family, Ducati will give the exclusive 4Ever Multistrada guarantee which continues to be valid with the new Multistrada 950 S for 4 years with unlimited kilometers. At INR 12,84,000 (Delhi Ex-Showroom), the old Multistrada 950 was open. The S version has a considerable premium over its predecessor for its premium hardware.
The Ducati Multistrada 950 S is not the only Euro5 motorcycle that we can expect to hit our coast. The Streetfighter V4 is compatible with Euro5, which could also mean that Ducati could also carry V4 here! The Streetfighter V4 is also augmented with the regular Ducati Red by a new ‘Dark Stealth’ color scheme, in addition to a Euro5 compliant engine.
The motorcycle still maintains the same power and torque, but now different revs are achieved. At 13,000rpm (250rpm more than before) the peak power of 208hp now is reached although, at 9,500rpm, the maximum torque of 122 nm is 2000rpm lower than the Euro4 model. The 2021 Streetfighter V4 series is also equipped with the Superleggera V4 self-winding front brake and embracing pumps.
