Tata Signa 4825.TK Tipper Truck Launched
The Tata Motors Signa 4825TK tipper was released with a price tag of Rs. 52.81 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai, and GST included). The manufacturer calls it the biggest multi-axle tipper truck in India, and the first 47.5 ton.
The Tata Signa 4825.TK is powered by a Cummins ISBe 6.7-liter BS6 engine, which produces 250 HP and 950 Nm torque at 1000-1700 RPM, introduced for the surface transportation of coal and construction aggregates.
It is fitted to a heavy-duty 9-speed G1150 gearbox, with a 430 mm clutch and Tata claims the gear ratios were chosen specifically for surface transportation and fuel consumption reduced.
The Tata Signa 4825.TK size, fitted with three drive modes – Light, Medium and Heavy, also gives customers a factory 29 cubic meter tipper chassis. Furthermore, providing the versatility to consumers is available in two versions, as a 10 range and 10 range.
Customer features such as sleeper cabin, tilt and telescopic steering system, 3-way mechanically adjustable driver seat, air conditioning and Hill Start Assist (HSA) will also receive the Tata Signa 4825.TK tag.
Also, the truck’s cabin was crash-tested, the manufacturer states, while the vehicle is fitted with sensors to detect and prevent it from toppling, for added protection.
