ADV Tourer Honda CB4X Coming Soon. Patent Image Leaked

As of now, Honda Motorcycles are working on introducing an all-new road-focused adventure tourer motorcycle for the European markets and have filed patents with the European Intellectual Property Office.

Honda CB4X

The Honda CB4X was first unveiled at 2019 EICMA and the patent images have recently leaked on the internet. We can say that the Honda CB4X may soon become a reality.

Honda CB4X

  1. The Honda CB4X is a road-based adventure tourer.
  2. Features an Inline Four-Cylinder engine.
  3. Likely to get LED lights, a full-digital instrument console, and premium underpinnings.
  4. Will rival BMW S1000 XR, Ducati Multistrada 1260 and the Tiger 1200.

Honda CB4X

Honda already has an ADV motorcycle, the Africa Twin CRF1100L, that targets serious off-roaders. But the CB4X qualifies as a road-biased adv tourer because it gets an inline four-cylinder engine and a more aggressive stance compared to the Africa Twin.

In terms of design, the new Honda adventure tourer will have features like full-LED lighting, an adjustable windscreen, and a Bluetooth-compatible colour-TFT display. The leaked patent images also reveal inverted front forks, a rear mono-shock setup, dual disc brakes at the front, a single disc at the back and a single-sided swingarm.

Honda CB4X

We believe that the Honda CB4X is more likely to battle it out in the 900-1000cc road-focused adventure touring segment and will compete with the BMW S1000 XR, Ducati Multistrada 1260 and the Tiger 1200.

Can the Honda CB4X win the road-based adv segment? Comment Below.
