TVS Raider Single-Piece Seat Variant Launched At A Price Of Rs 93,719
With a single-piece seat and a price of Rs 93,719 (ex-showroom, Delhi), TVS has discreetly introduced a new Raider trim that falls between the split-seat and top-spec SmartXonnect trims.
With the introduction of the single-piece trim, TVS has ceased production of the Raider with drum brakes, making the single-piece trim the new base specification. The price of the equivalent trim with the split seat is Rs 94,719, while the Smart-Xonnect with Bluetooth connectivity costs Rs 1 lakh.
The entry-spec TVS Raider is mechanically identical to the other trims, with the exception of the single-piece seat. A 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine producing 11.4hp and 11.2Nm powers the motorcycle. The bike’s chassis consists of a single-downtube frame that is supported by a telescoping fork and a monoshock. A 240mm disc at the front wheel and a 130mm drum at the back are responsible for stopping the vehicle.
