2023 Harley-Davidson Model Unveiled -Celebrates 120th Anniversary
Harley-Davidson has launched a slew of anniversary edition bikes spanning the Softail, Touring, and CVO lines to celebrate its 120th birthday. In addition, the Breakout has returned to the lineup, and the bar-and-shield brand has shown the new Nightster Special and an upgraded Nightster.
The Fat Boy 114, Heritage Classic 114, Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special, Ultra Limited, and CVO Road Glide Limited are all part of the Harley-Davidson 120th anniversary lineup.
In a tribute to its illustrious past, Harley-Davidson is marking its 120th birthday by releasing the 2023 Harley-Davidson Model with a special color choice called “Heirloom Red.” Additionally, each bike has a red pinstripe, golden Harley-Davidson insignia, black/red stitching on the seat, and laser-etched serial numbers on the tank. All anniversary edition models are mechanically similar to the ordinary variations except for these cosmetic alterations.
After a three-year sabbatical, Harley-Davidson has brought the Breakout nameplate back, and it now comes with the 117ci (1,923cc) V-Twin engine from the CVO lineup. Harley-Davidson has given the Breakout a bigger, front-facing air filter and an 18.9-liter petrol tank to increase airflow to the engine (up from the 13.25-liter unit the Breakout came with earlier). For this year, the Breakout also gets optional traction control and cruise control. In fact, this year’s models of every Softail have cruise control as a standard feature.
A pillion seat is included as standard, and the Harley-Davidson Nightster Special has been formally launched. It includes a variety of unusual design elements from the normal Nightster, including silver cast alloy rims, bar-end mirrors, and a Harley-Davidson emblem in the manner of the 1970s. The front bikini fairing, which is currently exclusively available on the Nightster Special, is removed from the Harley-Davidson Nightster for 2023. Redline Red is a new color choice. Both bikes use the same 975cc V-Twin engine, which produces 90 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque, and are technically similar.
