Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Recalled For Seat Base Failure, Over 2500 Units
Harley-Davidson is recalling Pan America 1250 bikes manufactured between March 8 and October 13 due to a seat base failure issue. According to the recall, 2,689 units are impacted, and this will also apply to motorbikes sold in India.
The problem is caused by a faulty installation of the back seat base. This seat foundation also houses the rear grab handle, and it is possible that the base will fracture. Recalled motorcycles will be outfitted with a new seat base.
The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 is an adventure motorcycle that deviates from Harley-norm. Davidson’s It has a liquid-cooled V-twin engine that generates 152hp with a plethora of technological gadgets and rider assistance.
