2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR Launched
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR has been released on the worldwide market with a few upgrades. The litre-class supersport bike is priced at $ 30,499 (about Rs 25 lakh, ex-showroom) in the American market and comes in two colour options: Lime Green and Ebony. The Ninja ZX-10RR is powered by a 998cc in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces 211bhp at 14,000rpm and 112Nm of peak torque at 11,700rpm. A six-speed unit handles the power gearbox. An anti-lock braking system, a bidirectional quick-shifter, an engine braking control system, cruise control, launch control, power modes and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) that regulates the traction control system are all standard features on the motorcycle.
The 2024 Ninja ZX-10RR is a track-focused motorcycle with a dynamic style. It receives a few performance upgrades, including a new variable air intake system (VAI) at the centre, which consists of a pair of movable intake funnels that operate in accordance with RPM (rotations per minute). As the funnels are elevated, the intake air travels through the system, optimising performance at high RPMs. The intake funnels, on the other hand, are up to 35mm higher in their lowest position, allowing for a smoother flow of the intake air and thus enhancing performance in the low and medium RPM range.
This technology is only available in race configuration with the ZX-10RR model and requires a racing ECU (Electronic Control Unit) and a sub-controller.
The redesigned Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR features a track-ready design. LED lighting, dual headlights, and a bubble visor are standard. In addition, innovative technology in the form of a TFT screen allows riders to monitor the speedometer, odometer, trip metre, fuel efficiency level, and more. It also has smartphone connectivity and four ride modes: Sport, Rain, Road, and Rider.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR has a completely adjustable front and rear suspension. The bike is suspended in the front by 43mm inverted balance-free forks, with a linked suspension configuration in the back. The bike’s braking system consists of dual 330mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc. The bike is outfitted with 17-inch alloy wheels and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres.
We’re not sure if the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR will be available in the United States. However, if it is released in India, the motorcycle will be Kawasaki’s answer to the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4, the BMW S1000 RR, and others.
