2023 Tata Nexon Interior Spied Before Its Launch
In the upcoming days, Tata Nexon will undergo a thorough inside and external revamp. Recent images show the modified two-spoke steering wheel that will come as standard equipment on the test mule for the 2023 Tata Nexon. The piano-black hub and surrounding buttons of the two-spoke wheel give it a refined appearance. The first car with this design was the Tata Curvv Concept.Additionally, the hub lacks any discernible Tata branding; nonetheless, it’s likely that an illuminated version is concealed under the plastic cover.
A flat button has been added to the wheel, and its controls may now also be touch-sensitive.For those who don’t know, the Tata Nexon SUV will be available starting in 2024 in both fuel and electric variants. Up to this point, only the former has been widely used.
There is no doubt that a significant amount of redesign work will go into the mid-cycle upgrade. The Nexon’s current DRLs might be replaced with a large LED light bar. The headlamp cluster on the bumper might go lower, and the bumper’s overall design might get more angular. The appearance will mostly remain unchanged, although the rear will receive new tail lights and a bumper.
The most exciting feature will be the hidden rear wiper, which is evocative of Range Rovers. The alloy wheels appear to have been inspired by the Tata Harrier EV’s.
A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is currently present in the Nexon EV Max Dark Edition, but reports say that this could be standard equipment in the upcoming facelift. Additionally, the vehicle offers wireless connectivity for Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
Naturally, the steering wheel will be completely new, but there will also be a new, more expensive selection of gauges. Two further potential improvements include a high-resolution rear camera and a reworked gear lever. The dashboard and interior layout won’t undergo any significant modifications.
The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engines offered by the Nexon’s predecessor are anticipated to remain in the updated version. Direct injection could perhaps result in a higher power output for the petrol engine. Additionally, a brand-new DCT gearbox could be added.
The starting price of the 2023 Tata Nexon is projected to be around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). The most expensive model might cost up to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
