2023 Hyundai Aura -Things To Know
Hyundai keeps placing its faith in the Aura compact sedan, which it just modified to comply with impending emission and safety rules. The Aura also receives some aesthetic improvements and a longer feature list. The 2023 Hyundai Aura competes with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor and is priced between Rs 6.29 and Rs 8.87 lakh.
From the front, the older model resembled the Grand i10 Nios (its hatchback form). Yet because of its new compact front grille and inverted trapezoidal air dam design, the facelift appears much more recognisable and won’t make you second-doubt yourself. Functional vertical air vents and inverted L-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights flank the air dam to give the vehicle a sportier look.
Perceptive viewers will note that the corporation has switched from its 3D chrome logos to brand-new 2D ones with a satin finish. Our test vehicle had the “Starry Night” paint, a brand-new colour that appears dark blue in direct sunshine and black in all other lightings. The addition of a rear spoiler for a sportier look is the only additional aesthetic modification. Its big LED tail-lamps haven’t altered, among other things, so opinions on its back appearance will remain divided.
The Aura’s cabin is impressive because to its airy atmosphere and excellent fit, finish, and quality. Although they probably won’t appeal to everyone, copper-coloured accents on the dashboard fascia and surrounding the gear console give the cabin some flavour.
Contrary to custom, analogue dials are used instead of the instrument cluster’s partial digital display. There is also a monochrome MID that provides information together with a digital speedometer and a new tyre pressure monitoring system.
Adults with wider body forms may find its front seats to be overly stiff and tight, while taller people will notice the lack of adjustable head restraints. Its front seats aren’t the greatest available. The back becomes better with plenty of support, room, and a comfortable backrest reclining angle. Nonetheless, this bench is better suited for two adults rather than three because of the car’s restricted width. At 402 litres, the boot is still roomy and useful.
With twin front and side airbags as standard and curtain airbags available in pricier models, Hyundai has made the Aura future-proof. There have also been additional safety features including ESP, hill-start assist, and automated headlights.
In addition to an 8-inch touchscreen with wired smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, footwell lighting, push-button start, keyless entry, a reversing camera, automatic climate control, and rear air-conditioning vents, to name a few, convenience features like cruise control and a tyre pressure monitoring system are also included in the package.
