2023 Hero Xtreme 160R To Launch On June 14
On June 14, Hero is expected to release the upgraded Xtreme 160R, and based on recent spy shots, it appears likely that the bike will get a few mechanical and electronic changes to keep it current against fierce competition.
The USD fork, which will take the place of the telescopic one on the current bike, will be the Xtreme 160R’s most obvious improvement. Given that the primary frame will change, it is likely that this modification will increase the weight of the bike. A Bluetooth connection could also be in the works, given those competitors like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Yamaha FZS-FI already have it. This upgrade is pretty extensive, so new hues might potentially be available.
Given that the test mule also had an oil cooler, it might mean that the 163cc mill in the Xtreme is getting some upgrades to make it more potent. The current 163cc 2-valve engine isn’t the most potent mill in its class, but if Hero can improve performance, it might also end up in future models.
When the 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R is released in the upcoming months, all of this will probably result in a price increase of about Rs 8,000-10,000. The 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R hasn’t changed much in the three years since it was introduced, but some new features should keep it interesting.
