2023 Hero Xpulse 200 4V Launched At A Price Of Rs 1.44 Lakh
Hero MotoCorp has introduced a redesigned Hero Xpulse 200 4V in India. The adventure-tourer motorcycle’s base edition will cost Rs 1.44 lakh, while the top-spec Pro version will cost Rs 1.51 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The revised off-road motorcycle now has OBD2 support and can run on E20 fuel. Hero MotoCorp has made various mechanical and visual changes to the Hero Xpulse 200 4V for 2023. The base edition of the new XPulse 200 4V features bold designs and enticing dual-tone color options, including Matte Nexus Blue, Techno Blue, and Black Sports Red. Rally Edition Graphics have been added to the 2023 XPulse 200 4V Pro.
The 2023 model has received a number of design updates, including a brand-new Class-D LED Projector headlight with LED DRLs. The light intensity has been increased by approximately 230%, according to Hero MotoCorp. The motorcycle also gets a 60mm taller Rally-style windscreen from the two-wheeler maker. In addition, the new Hero XPulse 200 4V boasts a redesigned rider foot peg position that is 35mm lower in front and 8mm lower in back. It also gets a new luggage plate and a USB charging port.
The 2023 Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro model has a fully adjustable suspension with 250mm front and 220mm rear travel. According to the manufacturer, the 850mm seat height, 270mm ground clearance, and handlebar riser enhance the motorcycle’s off-road capabilities. Furthermore, the company offers three ABS modes: road, off-road, and rally. In Road mode, the ABS has been tuned for dry roads, and intervention has been reduced in Off-road mode. However, in Rally mode, it is disabled. Dual-channel ABS is not available. For 2023, the recently released version retains single-channel ABS.
To meet the increased emission requirements, the motorcycle includes an onboard diagnostics system. Furthermore, it is E20 gasoline compatible. The ADV is powered by a 200cc four-valve oil-cooled BS-VI engine that develops 19bhp at 8.000rpm and 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm. According to Hero MotoCorp, the OBD-II system checks the catalytic converter’s operation and enhances vehicle efficiency by alerting the driver to any faults.
