2022 Tata Safari Dark Edition Teased Ahead Of Official Launch
Tata Motors has teased the upcoming Safari Dark Edition with a video. The SUV special edition could be released on January 17, 2022.
The Safari Dark Edition, like its sibling, the Harrier Dark, is likely to be all-black. The front grille of the SUV could be blacked out, as well as the alloy wheels. It could also be outfitted with black exterior trim instead of the standard chrome.
The 2022 Tata Safari Dark Edition may retain the same Benecke Kaliko leatherette upholstery with tri-arrow perforations and Dark embroidery on the seat headrests as the Harrier Dark model.
Aside from the cosmetic update, no mechanical changes are expected. The Safari Dark will use the same 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine that produces 168 BHP and 350 Nm. The standard version is available with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
