2022 Skoda Slavia To Launch By March
Skoda Auto will release the Slavia C-segment sedan in India in March 2022. It will serve as the Rapid’s replacement.
The Slavia was only revealed last month, and it is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform, which is also used by the Kushaq compact SUV.
The car is marketed as a premium midsize sedan by its manufacturer, and it measures 4541 mm long, 1752 mm wide, 1487 mm tall, and has the same 2651 mm wheelbase as the Kushaq.
The 2022 Skoda Slavia is larger than the first-generation Octavia and has the largest boot (521 liters) in its segment, as well as exterior features like LED lights, alloy wheels, and a sunroof.
Inside, the C-segment sedan will have a modern dashboard, automatic air conditioning, a 2-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen (the entry-level trim gets a 7-inch screen), an auto-dimming IRVM, wireless mobile charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and other features.
Skoda will offer the car with turbocharged 1.0-liter (115 PS and 175 Nm) and 1.5-litre (150 PS and 250 Nm) petrol engines and three transmission options.
The Skoda Slavia will be available in three trim levels: Active, Ambition, and Style, with prices ranging between Rs. 9 lakhs and Rs. 16 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will also include a significant amount of safety technology.
