2022 MG ZS EV To Launch On 7th March
After much anticipation, the MG ZS EV facelift is finally available. The facelifted ZS EV, which will go on sale on March 7th, will be more in line with the Astor in terms of design and features. The 2022 MG ZS EV, on the other hand, is expected to come with a new battery pack that will improve its performance and range.
The updated front fascia, LED headlamps, DRLs, a new alloy wheel design, a new bumper, and a new taillight design will be available on the 2022 MG ZS EV. The dashboard will be soft-touch leather with aluminium accents. A centre armrest and A/C vents are added to the rear seat. The upholstery, like the Astor, will be available in a variety of colours. The 10.1-inch HD touchscreen, which includes iSmart technology for connected car features such as voice commands for various car operations, takes centre stage.
In addition, the screen supports smartphone connectivity via Android Auto and Apple Car Play. It may receive an AI assistant, which is essentially a droid placed on the Astor’s dashboard and can interact with you. A panoramic sunroof, push-button start/stop, 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat, PM 2.5 filter for the A/C, digital instrument cluster, three steering wheel modes, heated ORVMS, rain-sensing wipers, the digital key with Bluetooth technology, and a 360-degree parking camera are among the other features. The updated ZS EV will also include the Astor’s suite of ADAS features. The battery pack and range will be improved as part of the facelift.
Globally, the base variant receives a 51kWh battery pack, good for 317 km of range under WLTP test conditions. Under Indian test conditions, we expect MG to bring in this battery pack with an improved range of over 400 km. For comparison, the previous model was available with a 44.5kWh battery pack that provided a 261km range in Europe. Expect the ZS EV facelift to cost significantly more than the current model.
