2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Bookings Open Before Its Launch soon
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is getting a mid-cycle refresh that will be available later this month. The company has officially launched booking for the MPV today, and interested buyers may book the new Ertiga with a deposit of Rs 11,000 at either the Arena dealerships or on Maruti’s website.
Maruti has confirmed that the new Ertiga will be powered by a new 1.5-liter Dual VVT K-series engine, confirming our earlier information. It also stated that the MPV would be replaced with a new 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle-shifters, rather than the present 4-speed automatic gearbox. For the better-equipped ZXi trim, an S-CNG version of the new Ertiga will be available.
In terms of equipment, the new MPV will be a step up from the present model. Maruti has revealed a number of new features, including a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system and ‘Suzuki Connect’ linked car technology.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga isn’t likely to change much in terms of design. The company has released the first teaser image for the MPV, which has already been spotted testing on our roads. Based on the photographs, the biggest difference will be the new grille design, which is comparable to the new Baleno.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will compete against the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, and even the revised version of its more luxurious brother – the XL6 – whenever it is released.
Maruti Suzuki intends to introduce six new cars by the middle of 2022. The Baleno CNG, new Vitara Brezza, and DualJet-equipped Ignis and S-Presso are among them, as are the new Ertiga and revised XL6, as well as the Baleno CNG, new Vitara Brezza, and DualJet-equipped Ignis and S-Presso. The company is also working on a new Creta-rivaling midsize SUV, which will be released later this year after being co-developed with Toyota. The much-anticipated Jimny is set to arrive in Maruti Suzuki showrooms next year.
