2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Launched At A Price Of ₹3.99 Lakh
The new Alto K10 from Maruti Suzuki is available for Rs 3.99 lakh. After almost two years since the last generation was phased out when the BS6 era began, the Alto K10 makes a reappearance. The new Alto K10 is more upscale and is positioned above the existing Alto 800. The Renault Kwid and other vehicles are competitors of the Alto K10.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has a wheelbase of 2,380mm and measures 3,530mm in length, 1,490mm in width, and 1,520mm in height. Compared to the Alto 800, it is approximately 85mm longer, 45mm taller, and 20mm wider. Its breadth, though, stays the same at 1490 mm. It weighs 1,150 kg in total.
The Heartect platform used by Maruti to build other small cars serves as the foundation for the Alto K10. The new Celerio’s rounded shape is incorporated into the Alto K10’s design, among other things. It has a big honeycomb grille up front and two sweptback halogen headlamps. You can see the 13-inch wheels and flap-style door handles if you move to the side. Due to the taillamps, many people would mistake it for the Celerio at the back.
The Alto K10’s interior has an all-black colour scheme with an upright dashboard. Like the Celerio, the front power window controls are located below the touchscreen. A redesigned steering wheel with steering-mounted Bluetooth and audio controls is included. It is equipped with a digital instrument cluster but lacks a tachometer. The Maruti Smart Studio entertainment system, which includes Apple Carplay and Android Auto, takes centre stage. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 also has 4 speakers, a remote key for the central locking system, and USB ports. The boot has a capacity of 214 litres. The new Alto K10 has dual airbags, rear parking sensors, speed-sensing auto door locks, ABS, and EBD as standard safety features.
The 1.0-liter K10C DualJet engine in the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 generates 67 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. The Celerio and the S-Presso both use this engine for power. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT. It has a 24.90 km/l AMT rating and a 24.39 km/l manual rating.
The Impacto and Glinto accessory packages for the Alto K10 have distinct themes and are available. The new Sizzling Red, Speedy Blue, and Earth Gold are among the six colours Maruti Suzuki is offering for the Alto K10. White, grey, and silver make up the remaining 3 hues. The STD, LXI, VXI, and VXI+ are the four variations of the Alto K10. The VXI and VXI+ versions of the AMT are both available.
