2021 Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Launched In India
In the Hybrid version, Yamaha has released a new scooter. Following the success of the Fascino Hybrid, Yamaha has introduced the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid in India. This scooter was first unveiled in June of this year. The 125cc segment is exploding with new products, whether it’s a scooter or a motorcycle. Let’s take a closer look at the recently released two-wheeler.
There are three different versions of the scooter: standard rear drum brake, standard disc brake, and Street Rally. The rear drum variant costs Rs 76,830, while the rear disc variant costs Rs 79,830. The Street Rally model costs Rs 83,830 and comes with simply a rear drum. The 2018 RayZR is also available in a Monster Energy Moto GP Edition, which features sportier graphics and a high-end paint job for roughly Rs 81,330.
The 2021 Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 8.2 PS and 10.3 Nm of torque. It’s linked to a CVT and a mild-hybrid system with idle start/stop technology called an SMG (Smart Motor Generator). It also reduces start-up noise and gives you more power when accelerating or going uphill.
The characteristics are significant since they distinguish the scooter from the competition. The scooter comes with a slew of premium amenities, including LED headlights, a digital instrument cluster, and Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X linked technology. Ride history, answer back, call/text alert, last parked position, and location monitoring are all features of this technology.
The kerb weight of the 2021 Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid is predicted to be 99 kg for all versions, despite the inclusion of knuckle guards, block pattern tyres, and alterations to the front apron on the Street Rally variant. There are two colour possibilities for the RayZR Street Rally: Sparkle Green and Matt Copper. The rear drum model is only available in two colours: Cyan Blue and Metallic Black, but the disc model is available in three more colours: Cocktail Yellow, Racing Blue, and Matt Red.
