2021 Range Rover Velar Launched At INR 79.87 Lakh
For the 2021 model year, the Range Rover Velar has been upgraded to include more equipment, an upgraded infotainment system, and a more powerful diesel engine. The redesigned SUV is currently available for Rs 79.87 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and only in the R-Dynamic S cuts level with 2021 deliveries already underway.
The 2021 Range Rover Velar is the most powerful diesel engine, starting from the mechanics. The new unit now generates 204hp – from 180hp, while the torque stays fixed at 430Nm, while still being a 2.0-Liter four-cylinder machine. The new unit has mild-hybrid technology as well.
The fuel tanker is now the same turbocharged unit of 2.0 liters, 250hp. Both engines come as standard with an all-wheel drive along with 8-speed automated transmission.
The second significant mechanical modification in the luxury SUV is the air suspension that should enhance the quality of the SUV.
The 2021 Range Rover Velar has the newest infotainment system from Jaguar Land Rover to the interior. A 360-degree camera also has a new tech on offer: earlier, the camera only featured a back view camera, an active road noise cancelation, and a cabin air ionization system PM 2.5 filter.
The new Range Rover Velar will continue to compete with premium SUVs such as the Jaguar F-Pace, the BMW X6, and the Mercedes GLE Coupe.
