2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo To Launch On July 15
On July 15, 2021, the new Mahindra Bolero Neo will be released in India. Mahindra has teased its forthcoming SUV, which is essentially a facelifted TUV300, with units reportedly already arriving at dealerships.
Spy pictures and teaser images highlight some of the new Bolero Neo’s design elements. The Bolero Neo has a reworked front end with a new front bumper, revised grille, and reshaped headlamps as compared to the previous TUV300. On the outside, images of the undisguised automobile circulating the internet reveal that little else appears to be altered.
However, there are a few details in the interior that the teasers hint will be part of the changes, such as a redesigned instrument cluster. Over the TUV300, updated upholstery, as well as various equipment revisions, are possible.
The 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo, like the TUV300, is projected to be around 4 meters long, with a longer, TUV300 Plus-based vehicle apparently on the way.
While engine specs are yet to be confirmed, the Bolero Neo is believed to have the same 1.5-liter diesel engine as the TUV300, which produces 100 horsepower. The vehicle will come standard with a 5-speed manual transmission, while it is unclear whether the AMT system from the TUV300 would be retained.
The new XUV700, which is slated to arrive in the coming months, is arguably Mahindra’s biggest unveiling of the year. Over the next five years, the automaker plans to launch a slew of new products in India, including an all-new Scorpio, the longer, 5-door Thar, and the XUV Aero-based XUV900 SUV-coupe, to name a few. The Mahindra XUV300 will also be available in an all-electric form.
