2021 Jawa 42 Teased Ahead Of Launch
With the announcement of three motorcycles–the Jawa, forty-two, and the Perak – Classic Legends, an affiliate of Mahindra, revived the Jawa moniker back at the end of 2018. The Jawa revival brought a smile to the riders who wanted something retro and real. The Jawa42, in particular, is situated in a very competitive set that includes the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Honda CB 350. Together with Jawa42, both of its rivals are relatively new.
The 2021 Jawa 42 will be revised in MY2021 to improve its position against the opponents. The teaser video Jawa uploaded.
The ten-second teaser video reveals nothing but the name 42 and says: “Seduction begins” and “Coming Soon.” The Jawa 42 was spotted with alloy wheels on a tubeless tire instead of wired spokes with tube tire. The tubeless pneumatics increases the comfort aspect because they can be conveniently punctured. The exhaust ports, the rear springs, and the front telescopic forks were all given black treatment by Jawa. The pillion-grabbing rail has been redesigned as well as adding a new windshield.
The concept of the retro design of the 2021 Jawa 42 will remain unchanged and no technical improvements should be included in the kit for 2021. A 293 cc fuel-injected liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine is assisted to achieve a maximum output of 27 bhp and a maximum torque of 27.05 Nm. In November 2020 the Classic Legends announced the landmark cross of 50,000 units Jawa bikes. In a successful 12 months of full operation, this has been accomplished with nearly zero inventories due to the waiting time being completely halted after the lockout. The 50,000-unit landmark also means that Jawa motorcycles in the country have an incredibly healthy demand boost, with their production and dealership presence continuing to build to accommodate the relentless demand growth.
