Some Yamaha dealers have started advanced bookings for the BS6 Yamaha FZ 25 and FZS 25 at a token amount of Rs 5,000, the amount varies according to dealers, and is refundable.
Expect the bikes to be costlier by Rs 3,000-4,000, the engine on the bike remains the same with a 0.1 decrease of power and torque figures which are now 20.8 Hp and 20.1 Nm but is now BS6 compliant. The bike now weighs 1 kg more at a 153 kg total kerb weight.
Some of the new updates to the bike include a new side-stand sensor, a new instrument console, a belly pan and a new headlight. Additionally, the FZS 25 gets knuckle guards and a short windscreen. The bikes will come with a few new colour schemes.
