The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift has a few design updates and feature-loaded cabin. The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift was revealed in the month of March but due to the pandemic Covid-19, the launch was delayed.
Hyundai India has now officially launched the Hyundai Verna at a price of Rs 9.30 lakhs which up to 15.10 lakh for the top-end diesel automatic model. Hyundai has named it as “spirited New Verna” and offers S, S+SX, and SX (o) trim. The Verna facelift gets three new BS6 transmission – two petrol and one diesel
The petrol units may offer 1.5 liter and 1.0-liter petrol engine mated with either a 6-speed or 7-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.5-liter petrol engine generates 115hp power and 144 Nm of maximum torque while the 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine generates 120hp power and 172 Nm of maximum torque. On the other hand, the 1.5 liter U2 CRDI diesel engine offers 115hp and 250Nm of maximum torque coupled with 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Coming up to the design, it gets a nose grill on the front with a chrome honeycomb pattern embedded with sharp-looking LED headlamps. At the rear end, the bumper shows a new skid plate in combination with twin-muffler design.
The 2020 Hyundai Verna gas got a big update inside the cabin. It is the only sedan in its segment to feature a fully digital instrumental console and connected car technology. It also features a 4.2-inch driver information display which is capable of providing a multitude of data to the driver. It comes with 45 features which include remote engine, voice commands, Blue Link in-car connectivity tech, tilts, and telescopic steering adjustment, and many more.
The smart feature includes wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, single touch electric sunroof, and many more while safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic stability program(ESP), and Tyre Pressure Monitor (TPMS).
