2020 Honda WR-V facelift is likely to be available in two variants

Fresh details about the redesigned cross-hatch have appeared online in the run-up to the unveiling of the 2020 Honda WR-V facelift. Already, the 2020 WR-V has started entering dealerships, suggesting that it is scheduled to arrive very early. We reported on the design changes on the refreshed WR-V some time ago, a little after the official opening of bookings.

The 2020 Honda WR-V is anticipated to have only two trims for each engine option, unlike the pre-facelift model that was available in two petrol and three diesel versions. There used to be S, V, and VX trimmings on the outgoing WR-V. Both the SV and VX are available on the revised edition.

In addition to compulsory protection gear, two airbags, front fog lights, a remote day/night internal rear-view mirror, a rear defogger and a rear parking camera would all have been accessible for the entry-level WR-V SV.

In respect to creature comforts and amenities, 16-inch aluminum wheels, projector headlights, LED DRLs, driver seat height shift, power-folding and customizable ORVMs, power windows, automatic climate control, 7.0-inch Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible, and SD card-based navigation will be included in the base model.

The top-spec WR-V VX model will include safety package such as a rear wiper and accessories such as LED headlights, taillights, and fog lamps, front middle armrest, speed control, keyless entry and go, leather-wrapped steering and electric sunroof.

Additionally, their alloy-wheel architectures can distinguish the petrol and diesel models of the WR-V. The knowledge that has emerged online also indicates that a three-year / unlimited kilometer guarantee would come standard with the Honda WR-V. The 90hp, 1.2-liter petrol, and 100hp, 1.5-liter diesel engines will continue to be available in only manual mode–with improvements to follow BS6 specifications.

Expect the retail petrol variant at Rs 8.3-9.4 lakh, while the WR-V diesel is priced in Rs 9.7-10.
